One week before Jacob had his exhibition at the Empire State Building, a Danish artist from the band Bush Pilots was shot in the head by a terrorist, a couple of floors above on the viewing deck.
Francis Turiano had played poker with the manager of ESB and played for one month exhibition on the 80th floor, and won. Jacob had always put the building into his drawings, since he was very effected by the old KING KONG movie as a kid.
