After 911 the pureness of the original prints made no sence to Jacob. So, he started to paint them over. It was a healthy process, and they came out with a new meaning and purpose.
The Gun Boy is now in the collection of the London based fashion designer Anna Borner.
The dog's name is Lederhosen and was Jacob's good friend for a short time. However he was not well, since he had been bound to a rope in an cold old factory most of his life. The time they hung out was nice, and Leder had probably never had home cooked meals before.
