The Special Boy Paintings

Theses are paintings that are part of the ongoing Special Boy project. Jacob has commissioned his mother to paint these images as part of their conversations about life and existence, just like they always have since he became aware of the reason he lived.

The very pool in these images are one of the strong reasons that Jacob is alive. A symbol of american capitalism and upper class suburbia, as well as sexy leisure activities for a generation that had worked themselves into a higher step on the class ladder in the baby boom generation.

The installation with the photos and these paintings also have sculptural elements along with video, when exhibited.
